My Friend Craig McCullah

At 7:20 P.M. on Monday 5 January 2004 Craig McCullah, my friend of 14 years left this world as a result of latent cancer diagnosis. He was a man, a son, a doting husband, a deeply private and empty soul who with the grace of God found fulfillment and closure in his short life immersing himself in the Loyal Order of Moose and most recently in his tragically short but beautiful marriage to the most beautiful S. Barbara Garstin. To say he will be missed is an injustice to the spoken word.
You know him as a Moose. Besides his co-workers at Dade Paper Company and a select few, I knew him before the Moose. Our outlandish and legendary yet soulful moments go away as a lost moment in time I am happy to have been a part of. I’m sure you all, who have been blessed with his acquaintance at one point or another have had a moment or two you could think of that would only bring a smile. He was that kind of person. Where I saw a half empty glass, he saw a half full one. Where I saw dirtbags he saw potential. I can only say that if the Supreme Creator needed him so bad there must be one serious problem up above…he is clearing a path for us all…God Bless You Craig. I miss you. We miss you.
